WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is a natural state of selective, focused attention.
The state of hypnosis can be compared to daydreaming and when we are absorbed in a good book or movie.

HOW SUCCESSFUL IS IT?

Hypnotherapy utilizes the power of the unconscious mind to plant positive seeds of suggestion and because it can bypass the critical faculty of the mind it can be accepted and acted upon automatically. So it is highly successful because it is at the unconscious level of the mind where the retraining of the mind happens and where all habits are held, and real change occurs. Just like once we have learned to ride a bike and we no longer have to think about pedalling.

The rest comes down to the skill of the hypnotist and the open willingness of the client to follow through with the guide and suggestions of the hypnotist.

I HAVE SEEN A STAGE SHOW WITH HYPNOSIS WILL THIS BE THE SAME?

Stage hypnosis and therapeutic hypnosis are two very different forms of Hypnosis. Stage Hypnosis is purely for entertainment and is nothing like a peaceful confidential hypnosis session.

I HEARD THAT ONLY 70% OF THE POPULATION CAN BE HYPNOTISED?

Again another myth about hypnosis. When studies were done in the 1960’s to ascertain who can be hypnotised, men, women, young, old, religion, the colour of skin, culture the study was only done with an Elman induction. Not the many or varied approaches that were available at the time. Which is why Marciniak House staff uses Conversational Hypnosis direct, authoritarian, passive and mind bending language are all utilized. All people can be hypnotised.

WHAT DOES HYPNOSIS FEEL LIKE?

A state akin to sleep. A beautiful warm embrace of your favourite blanket wrapped all around you just as you wake from sleep, your eyes are partially open where your mind is in a state of open awareness. As you are in a state of open awareness your unconscious mind will happily accept suggestive changes that benefit you, just like the time you came up with that most brilliant idea all by yourself.

WHAT IS NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING?

NLP is a study of language and how it effects and influences our perception of an experience of reality.
A specific study of HOW language affects our reality. A user’s manual for your brain/body and neurology but nobody knows how to run the thing because no one knows that there are a strategy, process and specific instructions for you to achieve results over and over again.

I’VE HEARD THAT NLP IS MANIPULATIVE?

Yes, yes it is that is why practitioners get results very quickly from your unconscious mind to your consciousness in a session or in some cases a lengthy breakthrough process. The difference is this; the mind that created the problem knows the exact root cause to unfold to the issue. Practitioners to trainers of NLP understand the use of language with your unconscious to conscious minds connection to break the incorrect pattern that you have been using to install a new one; this is done with the greatest of professional respect and courtesy for you as our client.

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL RELEASE ®

MER stands for Mental and Emotional Release® Therapy. Mental and Emotional Release® Therapy is a clinically researched approach to help you release stress, anxiety, fear and other negative emotions. You will be able to utilize MER to overcome procrastination, depression and phobias. The MER model has become widely known as the most effective method for creating rapid, lasting change for an individual. Combining this with NLP provides an innovative approach to understanding and directing human experience, communication and behaviour.

YOUR TIME LINE

Your “Time Line” is how you unconsciously store your memories or how you unconsciously know the difference between a memory from the past and a projection of the future. Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. People don’t change consciously. The MER process allows you to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change “inappropriate” programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.

WHAT IS HO’OPONOPONO?

Ancient Hawaiian process of forgiveness that is shared through our lineage From Dr Matt James, Papa Bray and Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona. She was recognized as a kahuna lapaʻau in Hawaiʻi and taught her updated version of hoʻoponopono throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe.
Ho’o means “to make,” pono means “right” said twice ho’oponopono is to make is doubly so.
This is a beautiful process to live within your heart space and a great way to open up within yourself Appreciation, Compassion, Understanding, Valor, Humility and Devotion.

WILL I QUACK LIKE A CHICKEN OR EAT AN ONION?

Short answer, No! – only if you want to.
Longer answer is even under Hypnosis you will not do anything that is against your morals.
In a private session you are in control and at no point will you do or allow yourself to harm yourself.
You will only ever go as deep in trance as you have trust in yourself, the hypnotist and the process.

CAN I MOVE DURING MY SESSION?

In the state of trance you are not paralysed. If needed you can move to a more comfortable position. You know exactly where you are at all times. You can change your sitting position, scratch yourself, sneeze or cough.

I CANNOT BE HYPNOTISED

This is not true. Every person on this planet has been hypnotised in one form or another. The most universal state is love. Yes, you were in a trance state. Additionally, other forms of common trance are dancing, reading a book, driving your car, watching a movie. These are all varying levels of trance, whenever you have had a time warp or engrossed in a movie or book you were in trance. Lastly, the Hypnotist does not hypnotise you, you hypnotise yourself with guidance.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPNOSIS AND CONVERSATIONAL HYPNOSIS?

Scripts! Many hypnotists (not all) worldwide will use a script that they read from to place you in a state of hypnotic trance, which can be bland and emotionless. Whereas the number of conversational hypnotists is increasing which means every session is tailored uniquely just for you. No two sessions are ever the same due to the high expertise in delivering you script less one of a kind new experience time after time.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SESSIONS?

You can pay via Credit / debit card, cash if in person, PayPal or direct bank transfer. All these options are yours. Details of which one you prefer will be finalised before your session. All transactions are in Australian Dollars.

WHY DO ONLY A FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT NLP?

NLP is very difficult to explain at the best of times especially to a layman, when a person has not contemplated that they have an unconscious mind. Other therapeutic models such as CBT, ACT and Mindfulness have received greater publications than NLP additionally your local doctor will not have heard of NLP to recommend you to see a practitioner. When you have had your own personal experience with NLP whether that is a Parts integration or a Values alignment, or a Swish pattern to overcome an eating disorder or quit smoking, or even to reinforce your personal boundaries through a Values alignment then it’s definable.

WHAT WILL NLP DO FOR ME?

I’m so glad you asked, in a short period of time you will overcome long held beliefs, phobias, behaviours and cognitive dissidence. How come sessions are so quick?
We are not interested in the content of the problem how it started so we are not spending time counselling you. We are interested in the context of the strategy you employ to do that unwanted behaviour, phobias, or belief, once that has been ascertained then it’s a matter of utilising the correct technique for the afflicting issue. This is NLP’s Cause and Effect, results Vs reasons or simply put are you taking responsibility for what you say, do and think?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We all have our gestalts of anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, happiness, love, gratitude, joy and so on.

A gestalt in this instance is an amalgamation of what we label our emotions as under one umbrella which is very confusing especially to your emotional and mental state for example when you say anger the emotion may bring up within itself frustration, rage, sadness, joy. Making changes in your time line as to the root cause of emotions and limiting decisions.

UNRESOLVED IRRATIONAL EMOTIONS?

Without the proper clarification of what that specific emotion entails for you there can be quite a lot of confusion as to how long you should hold onto any emotion; no longer than 48 hours. After which time the state becomes a mood (week to a month) then mood to temperament (month to six months) then it will become a personality trait.

Unwarranted irrational emotions and limiting beliefs can be resolved using a proven techniques Created by Dr Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall of which was evolved further by Dr Matt James.
